Reducing the Maintenance Cost of Electrical Parts and Controls
Hemami Figure 1This article introduces, and shows by an example, the feasibility of a concept for a future wind turbine gearbox. The concept is based on the potential in the present wind turbine gearbox structure that is not utilised. The objective is to reduce the maintenance cost of the electrical parts and controls in a modern wind turbine.
