NovaWind JSC has launched the construction of the Karmalinovskaya wind power plant in Stavropol Krai and the Marchenkovskaya wind farm in the Rostov region. The total volume of investments in the construction of the wind farms amounts to more than 24 billion rubles.
The 60MW Karmalinovskaya wind farm consists of 24 wind turbines with a capacity of 2.5MW each. The company is going to invest more than 8 billion rubles in the construction.
The 120MW Marchenkovskaya wind farm is located in the Rostov region and will be equipped with 48 wind turbines with a capacity of 2.5 MW each. The total volume of investments in the construction of the wind farm amounts to more than 16 billion rubles.
NovaWind JSC is a Rosatom division responsible for the development of wind power projects. By 2023 the company plans to have a total installed capacity 1GW.
