The Renewables Consulting Group (RCG) has announced the appointment of Laura Evertsen as a Director in the company’s growing Taipei office. Before joining RCG, Mrs Evertsen served as Head of Renewables for multinational energy and services company, Centrica.Prior to that she held a number of commercial and development roles, including six years as Head of Development for Centrica Renewables with responsibility for offshore wind activity. During this role Mrs Evertsen was responsible for attaining consent for 850MW of offshore wind in the United Kingdom for the Lincs and Race Bank wind farms, as well as securing exclusive development rights for a further 4,200MW offshore wind projects. Mrs Evertsen, who is based in Taiwan, will be reporting to Gareth Lewis, RCG's Managing Director for Asia Pacific.
