Iberdrola and Enea (Poland) have signed a letter of intent to cooperate on the development of offshore wind farms in the Polish Exclusive Economic Zone of the Baltic Sea with a total capacity of up to 3300MW. The companies have begun, on an exclusive basis, negotiations relating to the possibility of implementing a joint capital investment in wind farm projects and their joint preparation, construction and operation. Enea Group has a target of 22% of renewable energy in its electricity production portfolio by 2025 and 33% by 2030. Enea will hold a minority share in the projects.
