Vineyard Wind has submitted a 20-year power purchase agreement between its 804MWt Park City offshore wind farm and Eversource Energy and United Illuminating to the Connecticut Public Utilities Regulatory Authority for review.
The project is expected to begin operations in 2025. The PPA between the developer Vineyard Wind and the state’s two regulated electric utilities Eversource Energy and United Illuminating will now be reviewed by PURA.
