Pipeshield International, a Tekmar Group Company, in partnership with Mukran Port, has established a regional supply base on the German Island of Rügen, increasing their operational and logistical capability in the Baltic Sea.
The decision to open the strategic supply base was taken by Pipeshield following the successful delivery of several projects from Mukran Port over the last 18 months. The port has already proved its efficiency to the offshore wind sector during the construction of offshore wind farms Wikinger, Baltic 2 and Arkona Becken. In cooperation with Mukran Port, Pipeshield has access to onsite office facilities and manufacturing capability that enables manufacturing and supply of subsea asset protection and stabilisation solutions to clients in the region.
