VertAx Wind Limited has announced that it has expanded its engineering development team by inclusion of BAM Nuttall in developing and fabricating its vertical axis 10MW offshore wind turbine generator.

BAM Nuttall will play a vital role within the VertAx team in developing and fabricating an economic concrete support tower and associated foundation for this multi-megawatt machine in the marine environments of the United Kingdom and Europe. BAM Nuttall will also provide all of the on-shore and near-shore facilitation works that will be required in the construction and assembly of this new wind turbine generator.
