Vestas has secured a 99 MW order for two projects in Jiangsu Province in China. Both projects will feature a mixed site configuration consisting of V155-3.3 MW and V110-2.2 MW turbines. The order includes supply of 16 V155-3.3 MW and 21 V110-2.2 MW turbines as well as a 20-year service agreement.
 
Deliveries are expected to begin in the second quarter of 2020, while commissioning is planned for the third quarter in the same year. Customer’s name and project’s name are undisclosed under customer’s request.
 
Vestas also has received an order for a project in China that includes supply of 56 V136-3.45 MW turbines delivered in 3.6 Power Optimised Mode as well as a 2-year service agreement. Deliveries are expected to begin in the third quarter of 2020, with commissioning planned for the same quarter. Customer’s name and project’s name are undisclosed under customer’s request.
 
Further the company has secured a 202 MW order for a wind project in Sweden that will comprise 47 V150-4.2 MW turbines in 4.3 MW Power Optimised Mode together with a 27-year service contract. Turbine delivery is expected to begin in the first quarter of 2022, while commissioning is planned for the third quarter of 2022. The customer and project are undisclosed.
 
Close collaboration with Vestas’ customer ERG has led to the order for 18 V100–2.0 MW turbines with a hub height of 110 meters for the Laszki project that will be located in the province of Podkarpackie, Poland.The contract further includes supply, installation and commissioning of the wind turbines, as well as a long-term service agreement. Deliveries are expected to begin in the first half of 2021, while commissioning is planned for the second half of 2021.
 
Vestas has also secured an order from Green Investment Group Limited, part of the Macquarie Group for the 79.8 MW wind project in Norway. Vestas has developed a customised solution for the project with 19 V150-4.2 MW turbines with a 25-year service agreement and the Vestas Anti-Icing System.Green Investment Group Limited has entered into a power purchase agreement (PPA) which will provide revenue certainty for the project and deliver power to local industry. Two Nordic companies have also been selected to complete the main civil and overhead lines works, including Risa AS. Risa has been chosen to carry out all groundwork on the project. Deliveries are expected to begin in the second quarter of 2021, while commissioning is planned for the fourth quarter of 2021.
 
Finally Vestas has received a 48 MW order for a project awarded in the first Italian auction held in October 2019. The contract includes the supply and installation of 14 V136-3.45 MW wind turbines, as well as a ten-year service agreement. Turbine delivery will begin in the fourth quarter of 2020 with commissioning scheduled for the first quarter of 2021. The project and customer are undisclosed.
