Notus energy group and representatives of the Odessa regional administration signed a Memorandum of Understanding for the development of three wind farms in Ukraine.
Notus energy obtained the rights to build the wind farms in April 2019 and is responsible for the financing, technical planning, construction and operation of the turbines. The projects are located in the district of Ovidiopol, around 30 kilometres west of the Ukrainian Black Sea metropolis. The three wind farms will be built near the municipality of Libental (approximately. 120MW) and on the outskirts of the villages of Roksolany and Ovidiopol (approximately 180MW). Currently, around 50 wind turbines with a total height of up to 250 metres are planned and commissioning of the wind farms is expected in 2022.
