Orient Cable has received a cable supply contract for the third phase of the Putian Pinghai Bay Offshore Wind Farm. Under the contract the cable supplier will deliver 23.52 kilometers of 220kV export cable and 89.8 kilometers of 35kV inter-array cable.
The project is a three-phase project. All three projects combined have a total targeted capacity of 700MW offshore wind power. In phase one, 10 turbines were constructed with a total power capacity of 50MW. In phase 2, a capacity of 250MW will be added. Phase 3 will have a capacity of 400MW.
