A Preferred Supplier Agreement (PSA) has been signed with CSBC DEME Wind Engineering (CDWE) for the Balance of Plant (BOP) scope of the first 300MW of the total 1044MW Hai Long offshore wind farm in Taiwan.Under the BOP package, CDWE will be responsible for the Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Installation (EPCI) of foundations, inter-array and export cables, and transportation and installation of turbines and OSS. Offshore installation works are expected to begin in 2023. The Hai Long project is a joint development of Canada-based Northland Power and Yushan Energy from Taiwan.
