Enel Green Power North America (EGP) has started construction on two new wind farms in the USA, reaching 300MW-worth of new added capacity. Construction is under way on the Whitney Hill, Illinois and White Cloud, Missouri wind farms.
 
The 66 MW Whitney Hill is located in Logan County, Illinois and is slated to begin operations by the end of 2019. The 236.5 MW White Cloud, Missouri wind farm is expected to come online by the second half of 2020. With Whitney Hill and White Cloud coming online, EGP’s total capacity in the USA will soar to approximately 1250MW from both wind and solar power.
