China General Nuclear Power Corporation (CGNPC) has ordered offshore wind turbines with a combined capacity of 1,4GW from Mingyang Smart Energy.
The company will supply to CGNPC 255 MySE5.5MW wind turbines. The wind turbines will be installed at the Shanwei Houhu (500MW), Shanwei Jiazi I (500MW) and Shanwei Jiazi II (400MW) offshore wind farms to be developed off the coast of the Guangdong Province.
