Ventient Energy has taken a 49% stake in a 1GW wind generation portfolio across Spain, Portugal, France and Belgium. Ventient Energy is backed by a wide group of pension-funds, including Scottish public sector funds.
These funds have taken a 49% stake in a 998MW European portfolio, previously owned by EFG Hermes’ Vortex Energy, and will co-own the 56 projects alongside Portuguese renewables company EDP Renewables.
