With the offshore wind industry surging ahead in the Asia Pacific region companies are increasingly looking to recruit professionals for permanent roles. The offshore wind industry is expected to rise 20-fold to 45GW in 2027. Therefore Atlas has extended their permanent recruitment and executive search services to their Singapore office to respond to this demand in the region.
The offshore wind sector in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region is growing at a remarkable rate. The APAC offshore wind capacity will rise mainly in China, Taiwan, South Korea and Japan the coming years. New markets such as India, Thailand, Australia and Vietnam will start within five years. Edgare Kerkwijk joined Atlas Professionals as Strategic Director Renewables APAC in Singapore and will lead this initiative for the region.
