DTE Energy and Invenergy have announced the start of commercial operations at the Pine River wind project in Gratiot and Isabella Counties in central Michigan, USA.
Invenergy developed, built and transferred the Pine River project to DTE as a part of the company’s growing renewable portfolio and commitment to clean energy. Pine River is the third project Invenergy has developed for DTE and the 14th wind project in DTE’s Michigan portfolio. With 65 turbines generating 161.3MW, Pine River is the largest operating wind project in Michigan.
