India will auction 40GW of renewable energy projects comprising 30GW solar and 10GW wind every year for the next 10 years till 2028.
This medium-term target has a short-term milestone in 2022. India plans to have 100GW solar, 60GW of wind, and 15GW of other renewable energy capacity operational by 31 March 2022.
