The Energy and Natural Resources Ministry from Turkey has opened an auction to build four wind farm plants with a total capacity of 1,000MW.
The auction will begin with a price ceiling of € 0.048 per kilowatt hour and the government plans to purchase the energy from the wind farms for a 15-year period. The plants will be built in the provinces of Balıkesir, Çanakkale, Aydın and Muğla. Applications for the auction will be accepted until March 7, 2019.
