Vestas has received the first orders for V150-4.2 MW turbines in North America, as part of 324MW order for three projects in the USA. The orders include 252 MW of V150-4.2 MW turbines and 72 MW of V136-3.45 turbines delivered in 3.6 MW Power Optimised Mode.
The projects include previously purchased 4 MW components. Several of the projects will feature a mixed site configuration consisting of both V150-4.2 MW and V136-3.6 MW turbines. The order includes supply and commissioning of the turbines as well as multi-year Active Output Management 5000 (AOM 5000) service agreements for each project. Project construction will begin in the third quarter of 2019.
