Robert Erdmann has joined the management team at fos4X as Chief Digital Officer (CDO). In the newly created position of CDO, Robert Erdmann will focus on the digital business at fos4X and will develop new digital applications for the wind industry.The fos4Blade sensor platform forms the basis of all current and future series products from fos4X. Currently, the obtained data are used to optimise wind turbines with applications such as blade load measurement, structural health monitoring or ice detection. In the future, fos4X plans not only to consider individual turbines but also to optimise entire wind farms. Before joining fos4X, Robert Erdmann spent more than 12 years building various digital business units at the telecommunications company Telefónica Germany. He began his career with semiconductor manufacturer Texas Instruments and holds masters degrees in electrical engineering (Stanford University) and business administration (UCLA Anderson School of Management).
