SPT Offshore has announce that the company is engaged in a project to perform research and consulting works for the wind turbine suction foundation design for two offshore wind projects in China.
The wind farms are located approximately 10 to 30 miles from shore, the water depth is max. 15 metres – 30 metres). SPT Offshore is requested to prepare a conceptual design for each of the projects applying SPT’s Suction Pile Jacket (SPJ) foundations. The soils consist of soft clays and is well suited for SPJs.
