The Renewables Consulting Group (RCG) has announces that it is has completed formation of a business entity in Taiwan, The Renewables Consulting Group (Taiwan) Ltd., including approvals with the Investment Commission of The Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA), and other legal and regulatory steps required to do business in Taiwan.
Further, the company announced that it has established a local office in the Xinyi business district of Taipei and has signed a contract with its first senior level executive – Mr Michael Chang, who will serve as a Director of the Taiwan business, providing strategy, public affairs, and technical support for RCG’s clients in Asia, Europe and North America. Prior to joining RCG, Mr Chang worked as the Deputy Director for the Office of Policy Integration and Evaluation at Taiwan’s Ministry of Economic Affairs. Over the next 12 months, RCG plans to hire additional team members in Taiwan to support the rapidly developing offshore wind industry.
