Aerodyne Group, a Malaysian drone company has bought a 60 per cent stake in AtSite for € 2.2 million. AtSite provides inspections and specialised consultancy services to owners of large scale infrastructure throughout Europe and has over the last few years specialised in wind turbine blade inspections.
Over the last year AtSite technicians have completed more than 1,000 blade inspections on both offshore and onshore wind turbines. Due to this deal Aerodyne expects an additional € 20 million in revenue over the next three years. Aerodyne operates in 10 countries around the world – Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Brunei, Australia, U.K., U.S., UAE, Saudi Arabia and Denmark.
