AkzoNobel has launched a new high build epoxy coating containing a high level of lamellar glass flake for enhanced abrasion and corrosion protection.
Now available in Europe, Interzone 954GF extends the International range of protective coatings, targeted at areas including the offshore oil & gas and offshore wind. Interzone 954GF meets the performance requirements of both NORSOK M501 Ed.6 and the proposed revision of ISO 12944, which covers performance testing of Cx offshore environments. The performance testing in both these standards is currently based on the cyclic corrosion methods used in ISO 20340:2009.
