The Netherlands has launched a tender to fund an offshore wind farm without subsidies. The Hollandse Kust (Zuid) Wind Farm Zone (HKZWFZ) lies to the west of the Netherlands, offshore from the province of Zuid-Holland (South Holland).
This Wind Farm Zone has 4 sites. The tender round for HKZWFZ will offer two 350 MW projects for development: one at Site I of the zone, the other at Site II. This tender is open from 15 December 2017 till 21 December 2017.The tender for Sites I and II of the Hollandse Kust (Zuid) wind farm will be a procedure without subsidies. In this tender, market parties may submit a bid for the realisation of the wind farm without subsidies. In the event this tender procedure fails to yield an acceptable bid, a tender procedure including subsidies will be initiated.
