The Nordex Group has received another contract from Turkey. From April 2018 onwards, it will be installing nine turbines (N117/3600 and N117/3000 turbines) with a total capacity of 30MW in the Province of Izmir.
The customer is Umut Insaat, which is constructing the sixth project in Turkey with Nordex with this order Nordex will be supplying key components for the turbines from within Turkey in order to increase local manufacturing content.
