EMS Maritime Offshore (EMO) has signed a contract with Senvion to provide a Crew Transfer Vessel (CTV) during the operational phase of the offshore wind farm Nordsee One.
EMO has therefore added a catamaran from the Strategic Marine shipyard from Singapore to its fleet. As of April 2018, the vessel will begin service from Norddeich for at least three years. The 26-metre Stratcat is equipped with a water jet drive and can transport 24 passengers and up to 30 tonnes of freight The project was implemented as a shared project of EMS Maritime Offshore and its partner Van Laar Maritime. The investment amounts to approximately € 4 million.
