Inox Wind has won 250MW in the Indian SECI-II auction representing a 25% market share. The bid was won at a fixed price of Rs2.65/unit for 25 years. This win enhances their auction based order book to 550MW. Inox wind would be developing the project in the Kutch region in the state of Gujarat, India.

The project would be executed over the next 12 months. The company will supply, erect and commission its 2MW wind turbines with a hub height of 120 metres and rotor diameter of 113 metres. In this auction also ReNew Power (Rs2.64/kWh) and Green Infra (Rs2.64/kWh ) won rights to develop 250MW each. Orange Sironj (Rs2.64/kWh) secured projects totalling 200MW and Adani Green (Rs2.65/kWh) accounted for the remaining 50MW of this 1000MW auction.
