Tidal Transit has entered into an agreement with marine fleet productivity company Marfle to further enhance the analysis of its vessel operational costs and the key performance indicators associated with voyages made by its fleet of offshore wind farm crew transfer vessels.
Eden Rose and Tia Elizabeth are the first two vessels in the Tidal Transit fleet to be fitted with the Marfle data collectors which will gather information relating to a range of criteria including fuel consumption, speed, and engine temperatures and pressures to name but a few. The Marfle system will also provide alerts about a wide range of malfunctions or operating parameters which have exceeded their normal limits.
