Windkauf GmbH has signed a framework agreement for the distribution of wind turbines in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. With this contract Siemens Gamesa is expanding its clientele with operators of smaller wind projects.
The buying syndicate plans to order 20 to 30 wind turbines in the coming two years for wind projects with up to five units. Since 2015 Windkauf has supported operators and project offices as well as community wind farms. The model SWT-DD-130 will be offered with tower-configurations for hub heights of 135 and 165 meters. With the SWT-DD-142 hub heights of 129 and 165 meters can be ordered. Siemens Gamesa’s scope includes delivery, installation and commissioning. Maintenance will also be covered by service contracts with the turbine supplier.
