Invenergy has announced the sale of its Corriegarth Wind Energy Center (Corriegarth) to Greencoat UK Wind. The 69.5MW facility is located in Scotland, approximately 31 kilometers southwest of Inverness.
Financing for Corriegarth was completed in October 2015 and the project was commissioned in April 2017. The project utilises 23 Enercon E82 wind turbine generators. Corriegarth achieved Renewable Obligation Certificates accreditation in September 2016 and is party to a 15-year power purchase agreement with a UK utility.
