Vestas has received an order for 131MW of PTC qualifying turbine components. The order includes qualifying components compatible with a variety of turbines across the 2MW and 3MW platforms.
Delivery of the wind turbine components is expected to begin in the fourth quarter of 2016. Multiple components will be produced at Vestas' Colorado factories. Customer and project names have not been disclosed at the customer's request.
