Vestas has signed a service and maintenance renewal agreement with EDP Renováveis (EDPR) to service more than 1,100 turbines across 30 wind power plants in the USA and Europe for up to seven years.
The global service agreement represents a total capacity of 1,897MW. More than 70 per cent of the turbines covered by this agreement are in the USA, while the remaining wind power plants are in Spain, France, Romania, Portugal and Italy. The contract includes a variety of service products such as the Active Output Management (AOM) 4000 package.
