Southwest Windpower has received the wind industry’s first UL classification for a small wind turbine.
With Skystream 3.7 now certified with the UL 6142 Standard for Small Turbines, this demonstrates that the turbine complies to important safety standards for customers, and it clears the way to be installed in any state in the USA that requires this certification. UL 6142 Safety for Small Wind Turbine Systems was adopted to comply with National Electrical Code electrical safety standards.
