Mexico sets goal to add 20 GW of clean energy by 2030

Mexico's government has set a goal to add 20 gigawatts of installed clean energy capacity by 2030.

As a result, said Mexico's Wind Energy Association, the country is expected to quadruple its installed wind capacity from 2.5 GW in 2014 to 10 GW within three years. Mexico will likely add 22 GW of installed wind capacity over the next 25 years.
