Vestas has received an order for 47 V112-3.3MW turbines, with a total capacity of 155MW from SunEdison for the Bingham project in Maine, USA.
The contract includes supply and commissioning of the wind turbines, as well as a 10-year Active Output Management (AOM 5000) service agreement. Commissioning is expected in the second half of 2016. Further Vestas has received an order for 83 V117-3.3MW turbines corresponding to 274 MW from Sun Edison for a project in Texas, USA. The order comprises supply and commissioning of the wind turbines, as well as a 10-year Active Output Management (AOM 5000) service agreement. Commissioning is expected in the first half of 2016. Vestas also has received an order for 54 V110-2.0 MW turbines, totalling 108MW of which further details were not undisclosed at the customer’s request. The contract includes supply and commissioning of the wind turbines, as well as a five-year customised Active Output Management service agreement. Delivery of the wind turbines is expected in third quarter of 2016, while commissioning is expected in fourth quarter of 2016.
