Inox Wind has announced it will build two wind farms totalling 172MW for Tata Power Renewable Energy.
The company has won orders to supply, install and commission a 54MW wind park in Gujarat and a 118MW plant in Rajasthan. In total, Inox Wind will install 86 2MW turbines for Tata Power. The 54MW project is expected to be finalised by June 2015, while the other project is scheduled for completion by March 2016. Under the terms of the contracts, Inox Wind is also in charge of site purchases and the operation and maintenance of the two wind farms.
