Gamesa has signed an agreement with Vattenfall for the supply of 36MW in Sweden.
Under the terms of the agreement, Gamesa will supply and install 18 of its G97-2.0MW turbines at the Höge Väg wind farm located in the municipality of Kristianstad in the county of Skåne, in southern Sweden. The turbines will be equipped with Gamesa’s MaxPower technology, which increases the turbines’ nominal capacity from 2.0MW to 2.1MW. The wind turbines are scheduled for delivery during the first half of 2015, while the facility is slated for commissioning towards the end of next year.
