ExxonMobil Fuels & Lubricants has announced that its wind turbine gear oil, Mobilgear SHC XMP 320, is now supplemented with a five year warranty guaranteeing effective working life of the main wind turbine gearbox.
The assurance guarantees extended service life of the gearbox oil for up to five years from the initial fill. To help customers switch to this product, ExxonMobil has established partnerships with wind turbine oil service providers, C&D Ölservice GmbH and Peter Lonsdorfer GmbH & Co. Mobilgear SHC XMP fully synthetic industrial gear oils are designed to provide reliable equipment protection and extended oil life even under extreme offshore conditions.
