Nordex AG is supplying 26 N80/2,500 kW turbines for the Scout Moor wind farm under a contract worth around € 61 million.

The customer is UK wind farm developer Peel Wind Power Limited, a subsidiary of the property and transportation group Peel Holdings Limited. This brings the business received by Nordex in the United Kingdom since January 2006 to a new total of 215MW. The Scout Moor wind farm will be located roughly 30 kilometers north-east of Manchester on the Rossendale / Rochdale border. Turbine delivery is scheduled to start in November 2007, with the turbines to be connected to the grid in spring 2008.
