Dongfang wins tender for 300MW Print E-mail
Thursday, 16 November 2006
The Chinese government recently called tenders for a total of 1,300MW.

The energy supplier China Guangdong Nuclear won one of the two biggest projects for 300MW and chose REpower’s licence partner Dongfang as the supplier for the wind energy turbines. These are turbines from REpower’s MD class with a rated output of 1.5MW which Dongfang constructs under licence. The turbines are to be erected in Huitengliang in Inner Mongolia, a region with best wind conditions. Dongfang also reported that it concluded agreements for a total of 63 additional MD turbines for three wind farms. A licence agreement has been in place between Dongfang and REpower Systems AG for two years.
