This test field for offshore wind power is going to be the biggest REpower 5M project. The whole concept consists of three wind farms (Westre, Ellhöft, Lydersholm) which are financed by citizens. In total, there are 200 limited partners involved, 30 of them of Danish nationality. The realisation period of the wind farm Grenzstrom Vindtved is planned between the end of 2007 and autumn 2008. The wind turbines have a hub height of 100 metres and the tip-height of the rotor blade amounts to 163 metres.
