Wind farm project proposed for Erieau |

Toronto-based AIM PowerGen Corp. has just completed building the 99MW Erie Shores project near Port Burwell and wants to build a 150MW wind farm in the Erieau-Blenheim area.
The Erieau project would have 75 to 100 turbines, depending on capacity, compared to the 66 turbines now operating in Erie Shores. Whether or not the Erieau project goes ahead will depend on provincial approval in a third round of requests for proposals that will likely be issued next year. |
