Future of German locations secured Print E-mail
Monday, 10 October 2005
REpower has declared that the vast majority of its employees have agreed to the announced cost-reduction measures contained in the RE-Act restructuring programme, a move to secure the future of the REpower locations in Germany. The measures, which were signed and approved by an average of just under 85% of REpower employees at the locations concerned (Hamburg, Husum, Osnabrück, Rendsburg and Trampe), will mean a limited increase in working hours and a limited waiving of salary claims, which will be implemented by a reduction in the 13th salary payments for 2005 and 2006 for all employees. In return, all REpower employees are guaranteed employment until 31 December 2007.
