Hendrix offers underground cable to the wind power industry Print E-mail
Tuesday, 10 November 2009
Hendrix Wire & Cable now offers 1250 KCML underground cable to the wind power industry.

Hendrix has provided primary cable to the utility industry for over 50 years and is supplier of 34.5 kV TRXLP cable to the wind power industry. The 1250 KCML size is an addition to Hendrix’s wind offering. This larger size cable is replacing the smaller 1000 KCML. This size change has occurred as the turbine generation capacity has increased. Hendrix has manufactured significant quantities of the 1250 size and those cables have been installed successfully. The Hendrix 34.5 kV collection grid cables are available in both aluminum and copper conductor. Standard conductor sizes range from 1/0 through 1250 kcmil. Both full and reduced concentric neutral configurations are available.
