Noble Denton has announced the appointment of Ian Bonnon as group director, renewables. Mr Bonnon, will develop the renewables business globally and will report directly to group managing director, John Wishart.

Over the last ten years, Mr Bonnon has led the development of the UK renewables business within Noble Denton. Mr Bonnon has more than 28 years’ experience in the oil and gas, renewable energy, marine and subsea cable industries. He joined BOMEL in 1998 as engineering manager and in 2003 he was appointed to the position of director of engineering and projects. In 2004, following the acquisition of BOMEL by Noble Denton, he was appointed as managing director of BOMEL. In 2008, Mr Bonnon was appointed to the role of Europe southern operations director in Noble Denton.
