NRG Systems has announced the promotion of Larry Jacobs to the position of marketing manager. Jacobs has served in technical sales and marketing roles at NRG Systems for seven years.

In his new position, he will oversee marketing planning and operations, and serve on NRG Systems’ department managers’ team. Jacobs came to NRG Systems after seven years with IBM where he served as product marketing manager. He holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Vermont and a bachelor’s degree in liberal studies from St. Michael’s College. Within the wind industry he serves on the board of directors for the Canadian Wind Energy Association and as visiting faculty at the University of Wisconsin in the department of engineering professional development.
