Alstom wind turbines for Japanese project Print E-mail

Tokyo Electric Power Company (TEPCO) is to use Alstom wind turbines for the new Higashi Izu wind farm in Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan.

Under the terms of the contract, Alstom will supply, install and commission 11 Eco 74 wind turbines on the site, a total of 18MW once commissioned in October 2011. The deal represents Alstom’s first contract in the Japanese wind power market since acquiring Ecotècnia in October 2007.
