Vestas has received an order for 26 V90-1.8MW, 5 V90-3.0MW, and 20 V90-2.0MW turbines to be installed in Italy across the regions of Apulia and Molise.

The order comprises supply and installation of the turbines, a VestasOnline Business SCADA system as well as a two-year service agreement The order has been placed by IVPC Power 5, the project company of IVPC. 62MW of this new order will be installed in the region of Apulia. The remaining 40MW will be installed in the Molise region. Delivery for the projects is scheduled to start during the first half of 2009 and the projects will be completed by the end of the same year.
