Siemens has been awarded an order to supply 44 of its 2.3MW wind turbines for the Keenan wind farm in Woodward County in Oklahoma, USA.

The purchaser is CPV Renewable Energy Company, a subsidiary of Competitive Power Ventures (CPV), Inc. The Siemens scope of supply for the Keenan Wind Farm in Oklahoma consists of delivery, installation and commissioning of 44 SWT-2.3-93 wind turbines with a capacity of 2.3MW each. A service and warranty agreement is also included in the order. The wind farm is scheduled to be in commercial operation in 2009.
